OS X Mountain Lion Review

It's here. It's here. OS X Mountain Lion is out on the Mac App Store for 20 dollars. Here is my review about it.

1. Messages - Have you ever wanted to iMessage on your Mac? Well, now you can. It syncs with all your devices via iCloud. You can send regular texts, images and other files to other devices. NOTE: You cannot send iMessages to non Apple devices.

2. Dictation - Dictation allows you to dictate text to your computer. Here is an unedited version of a Dictation session.

Dictation is awesome! Wonderful, great. You will never use a keyboard again when composing a short story. Hands-free writing! Hit the S and G2 times to act

Here is an edited version of the same Dictation session.

Dictation is awesome! Wonderful, great. You will never use a keyboard again when composing a short story. Hands-free writing! Hit the Fn key two times to activate Dictation.

3. Safari 6 - In Safari 6, we have some exciting new features that include:

Unified Smart Search Field - If you know what Google Chrome is, you know what I'm talking about.  but if you don't know what this is, read on. It combines the search field and address bar into one. It is very nice.

Tab View - If you have a Multi-Touch Trackpad and have multiple tabs open, you can pinch with 2 fingers and you will be able to navigate your tabs with gestures.

iCloud Tabs - If your browsing on your iDevice with iOS 6 on it, you can continue browsing on your Mac by clicking the cloud icon in the top left corner of a Safari window to see all the tabs opened on all other Apple devices synced with iCloud.

Share button - You can share the website your looking with some services such as Twitter. NOTE: Facebook integration is coming soon!

AND IT IS MUCH FASTER!!!

I would rate OS X Mountain Lion 9 out of 10 stars.
